Bio

Michael Lopez is a Chicago-based artist specializing in animation and sculpture. He earned his MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago (2017) and his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2008). Lopez has exhibited his work in solo shows such as Dealers Choice at Material Gallery (2021) and Final Viewings at Julius Caesar Gallery (2019), and in group exhibitions across Chicago.
